Welcome to ArtLoft: a series of engaging salon-style talks, hosted in a spacious central London loft.

TRIBUTE TO ZAHA HADID

A decade ago, the world lost an architect of extraordinary power and vision: Dame Zaha Hadid. To mark the 10th anniversary of her passing, ArtLoft is hosting a special evening tribute to Zaha, featuring some of her closest collaborators and friends.

Monday March 9, 2026           6:30 - 10:30 pm

(Talks start at 7 pm sharp)

The speakers:

Hans Ulrich Obrist, Artistic Director, Serpentine Galleries

Dame Julia Peyton-Jones, former Director, Serpentine Galleries; Partner, Brunswick Arts

Deyan Sudjic OBE, former Director, Design Museum; author and curator

Patrik Schumacher, Principal, Zaha Hadid Architects

Joseph Giovannini, Biographer of Zaha Hadid; American architecture critic

Leading the conversations is Farah Nayeri, a journalist and author who interviewed Zaha on numerous occasions. There will be two talks, with champagne and a Lebanese buffet served in between.

The  Zaha Hadid tribute is co-hosted by ArtLoft co-founder and digital art gallerist Annka Kultys on the premises of her gallery, the Annka Kultys Gallery

It will be filmed and released on March 31 (the anniversary of Zaha's passing) as a special bonus episode of the CultureBlast podcast, which Farah Nayeri hosts.

Talk 1  (7 pm - 8 pm)

Zaha Hadid: The Personality

In the first conversation, each speaker will describe Zaha in their own words -- giving the audience a sense of who she really was. As a public figure, Zaha was sometimes misunderstood, and this is a chance for the audience to hear from five prominent speakers who knew her very well.

Talk 2  (9:15 pm - 10:15 pm)

Zaha Hadid: The Architectural Legacy

Zaha was the first woman ever to win the Pritzker Architecture Prize, and one of the most prominent architects of the 20th and 21st centuries. Ten years after her passing, her influence extends far beyond the confines of her profession. Why is Zaha such an important figure in the history of architecture and design? What makes her legacy so enduring?

About ArtLoft

ArtLoft is a new series of art and culture conversations held in a vast and beautiful central London loft, where the Annka Kultys Gallery is based.

ArtLoft was cofounded in November 2025 by  Farah Nayeri, arts journalist, author, and podcast host; Annka Kultys, gallerist and digital art specialist; and Joséphine May Bailey, contemporary art gallerist, curator and writer.

ArtLoft evenings are a unique opportunity to get up close and personal with those whose lives revolve around art and culture: a chance to meet world-class artists and architects,   museum administrators, curators, writers and other professionals from the worlds of art, architecture and design. We offer an insider's guide to the world of arts and culture, open to all.

In between talks, there is plenty of time for conversation and exchange over drinks and a buffet dinatoire.
